This is a great Pizza spot in Durham, it is close to the RTP area and offers great food at a great price. I went for my lunch break, and I ordered the 2 slice special with a drink. I chose 1 bbq chicken pizza and a normal cheese pizza. First thing I noticed about the pizza slices was that they were huge! The BBQ chicken was decent, but I wished the cheese pizza had a little bit more cheese. It seemed like there was more sauce than cheese, but that is my only critique. Definitely check them out, they’ve got a wide range of pizzas/subs/wings. Great place to gather for lunch with plenty of seating and parking .

I ordered the Stromboli. It was lunch rush hour so it took a bit to arrive.
It was a generous portion. The filing was tasty but it was quite oily. The metal plate it was on kept turning on me when I tried to cut it with the cheap plastic fork and knife. I eventually picked it up and ate it with my hands when it cooled down. The marinara dipping sauce was very tasty.
Maybe I should have just stuck with pizza slices. LoL

Randy’s Pizza located at 5311 S Miami Blvd, Durham, NC 27703 is a large pizza chain in the Raleigh area. Many locations across the area. Their slices are quite large, huge actually, and cheaply priced. Crust is a soft bottom crust, and the cheese and toppings are generous. It was good, not great at all. I only got 2 slices, which is ate about half of and discarded them. My slice of mushroom, the toppings were added on after taking a slice of cheese and heating it up. That never melds the flavors!!
Manager who was at the register was great and welcoming to everyone.

Moved away and was so looking forward to Randy’s as it’s been awhile. RTP always the best location, but not my day with them. Ordered a Stromboli (even confirmed there was no ricotta as I hate it). Get back to hotel and cut into a pepperoni calzone loaded with ricotta. I attempt to call, placed on hold. 7 minutes later I’m in their parking lot walking in before they answer the call. Apologies given and they will make me the correct thing right away (first verified name and ticket number to see where error happened). They assure me it’s correct. I get back to room to a “blond” Stromboli- best I can describe it. Yep, still doughy inside as they must have rushed the cool to make up for their error. Please never rush to correct an error, it never works out. Off to a different restaurant to get dinner, and will second guess myself before trying Randy’s again ☹️

This is not authentic New York pizza. If you do decide to check it our, get a plain cheese slice. Specialty slices are trash and the meat isn't fresh.
