This was my second visit to Awaze Ethiopian Eritrean Cuisine, and once again, their food did not disappoint. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, yet it's bursting with flavor. I don't remember the exact names of the dishes we ordered, but you can see them in the photos. The presentation was appealing, and the food tasted even better than it looked. The decor adds a nice touch to the overall experience. The service is decent—not outstanding, but it didn't take away from the experience. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

Last night, we celebrated our holiday party at Awaze, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The venue itself is fantastic, and the food was nothing short of spectacular. We enjoyed a delightful array of vegan dishes, appetizers, and incredibly fresh tibs. The service was exceptional, making our guests feel right at home. A heartfelt thank you to Awaze for creating such a warm atmosphere. We left with full hearts and a sense of gratitude for having an authentic Ethiopian gem in our town! 🙏🏽

Came to Awaze from Greensboro because we were missing Ethiopian food. The experience didn’t disappoint. Food was delicious and service was great. Highly recommend other folks check them out. For anyone that is new to the cuisine I recommend getting the platters that way you can try a little bit of everything. We normally get a veggie platter and a meat entree.

Ok place in a convenient location. Food tasted a bit bland unfortunately and service is a bit slow. It was a bit busy which I guess is understandable. The mist important factor is the food was not as good that tasty, kind of sick if flavors than what I am used to compared to other Ethiopia place. Staff is friendly though.

What can I say about Awaze Ethiopian Eritrean Cuisine? Amazing food. This was my first time eating Ethiopian food, and I was blown away. From the minute I entered the restaurant, a friendly waitress greeted me; she was extremely friendly and answered all my questions. I ordered a meat sampler and was amazed at how well the dish tasted. The spicy sauces blended exceptionally well. I also ordered the Lamb Awaze tips. The lamb was incredibly tender. It's hands down the best food I’ve tried in NC. Take it from me: do yourself a favor and give this restaurant a shot.
