Owner was very friendly and all the food was delicious. We would definitely eat here again and try other things on the menu. The Lahmacun sandwich was huge and all the ingredients fresh and very flavorful. The hot sauce was very hot but went great on the sandwich. Vegan or not, I highly recommend everyone try and enjoy the food here.

"At some point my taste buds forgot we were in Apex, NC"
Dinner for two at this location on a Friday evening. The experience eclipsed my expectation. We were greeted with a smile and kindness.
We shared the Mac N Cheese broccoli bake. I forgot that there's a difference between "vegan" and "vegetarian", therefore there's no cheese in the Mac N cheese. But was pleasantly surprised at their interpretation.
I had a cheeseburger and sweet potatoes fries. My wife had a taco...can't remember what side.
We both ordered the hibiscus tea(I highly recommend you try!!!) She ordered a take home desert.
Total on the meal for two was $55, inclusive of a 10%tip.
Overall a great meal experience!!! We will be eating here again and again and again.
Downside is small... On chilly nights I could see were it would be tough people who hate the cold. Wasn't cold, but cool from time to time. Thankfully that's only 7.5% of the NC experience
They get a lot of take out orders, the door is always opening and closing. Also food isn't as good reheated. Mac n Cheese reheated well, cheeseburger didn't. Froze my Hibiscus tea, thawed and had in the morning. Delicious.

We had a great experience here! Food is very diverse, flavorful, and affordable. We got a lentil samosa, tomato cucumber salad with mediterranean vinaigrette, vegan burger, and crispy crunchwrap with latin flavors. The owner was extremely kind and welcoming. We’ll definitely come back! Try their homemade hibiscus tea. If you love cold sweet teas, you won’t regret it!

Our family LOVES Vegan Community Kitchen—this place is the best kept vegan secret in Apex. We’ve tried almost every item on the menu and we have yet to be disappointed. The pizza and burrito bowl are my favorites. We also love the cookies and brownies. The owners are absolutely fabulous - super nice, accommodating and communicative. When we had our second son, they provided me a complimentary dish that was AMAZING! We cannot rave more about this place, you can’t beat the price per portion size, flavor, plus the great service!

I was raised on deep South BBQ, so please Believe in saying this is the restaurant to step your for into vegan food if your a big meat person. This place has a refreshing change from most vegan "options" at restaurants by focusing on creating their own unique tastes rather than trying to replicate meat. Their dishes are full of flavor, with some great umami options that satisfy in a different, yet equally pleasing way, that all -happen- to be vegan. The kebab with fries option, in particular, has a juiciness that most vegan options do not achieve. The food is thoughtfully prepared and well-seasoned. Additionally, the indoor seating is extremely comfortable and inviting. For anyone looking for a delicious vegan meal that stands on its own, I highly recommend trying this location and don't miss the kebab with fries.
