One of the best vegan places in Raleigh! We got the breakfast burger, the chicken and waffles, and some fries. The staff was extremely kind. Their waffle machine wasn't working, so they made my meal with french toast instead, which was amazing. Before we left, they got the machine to work and ended up giving me an extra waffle with more chicken for free! The burger was also amazing, and I think the patty is made in house. They also give you a free cookie if you post a photo of your food and tag them on instagram. Look how good this food looks! It tastes even better than it looks. The store is woman and minority owned too. Support Pure Vegan!

My family and I loved this place! Tried a bunch of things and they were all great…samosa, mac n cheese, avocado toast, strawberry french toast, chicken wings, cauliflower wings, chickn burger. We will definitely be back to try other menu items!

My dad was looking for a vegan restaurant on New Year’s Day and Pure Vegan Café happened to be about an 11-minute drive from Crabtree Valley Mall, so we decided to try it out. 🙂 We tried a variety of items and here are our opinions: -Pani Puri – One of my favorites! Loved the crispness, the seasoned potato filling, and it was nice to try the tamarind/mint water dip. -Dhai Puri – My family sort of expected a salad or at least a bigger portion based on the website photo, but it was still overall pretty good. -Masala Bowl – Filling, slightly spicy, but a bit lackluster with flavor. May try the vindaloo bowl next time to see if it’s more flavorful. -Hot Dog with Chili – The vegan hotdog was pretty good! The cashew nacho cheeze was so-so, but the vegan chili sauce was OUTSTANDING. Probably the best vegan chili we’ve tried thus far! -Mac and Cheeze – Texture was nice and pretty creamy! Flavor was a bit so-so, but this is admittedly the best vegan mac ‘n cheese we’ve tried in a restaurant, in comparison with others. -Banana Toast Crunch – I really enjoyed this one! Great for a sweet breakfast, or as a dessert. -Overnight Oats – The goji berries and strawberries in this were fresh and delicious! The oats were overall a little soggy and watery, but I wonder if that’s because of the juice released by the fruits over time. We did admittedly consume this later in the day. -Mango Lassi – Smaller portion in a cup, and I seemed to taste more spices than I usually do compared to past mango lassis I’ve tasted. There seemed to be an iron-like aftertaste, which was interesting. Overall, we had a pretty good experience and would definitely consider returning to try other items on the menu! Staff was very kind and welcoming, and the baked goods in the display case looked beautiful and appetizing. Thank you for all the great plant-based (and gluten-free) options!

I love Pure Vegan Cafe. I definitely recommend this nice vegan gem. The staff is always friendly and the food is DELICIOUS. I love the variety and all the food is plant-based and I don’t have to make any special request or ask questions as I do in a traditional restaurant setting. Please check them out, you won’t be disappointed. The breakfast burger is my favorite with a Matcha Latte.

Wonderful cafe with a wide range of vegan options, including fusion dishes and cold-pressed juices, in the heart of North Raleigh. The workers are friendly and can offer suggestions if you are looking to try something new or different.
