The decisions made by the crew when they discovered challenges resulted in quality results, and they addressed my few remaining concerns quickly and effectively. If you want the short version - I experienced Baker as an honest company that does great work, is competitively priced, and is constantly seeking to improve their service. I will continue to patronize Baker Roofing.
Long Version -I obtained estimates from three of the highest rated roofing companies, and decided to try Baker Roofing because Chad P. knew more about roofing longevity practices and drainage management than the other two company representatives. I am staying with Baker because of the quality of both their work and their employees.
Clint was the project manager for the roofing, and I could not have asked for a better advocate. He told me everything to expect, was present for and very attentive to the entire roofing process, enthusiastically addressed all of my questions and concerns during the install, and made certain that I was completely satisfied with the completion of the work. I was impressed with his honesty and his attention to detail. In the future, I will ask for him specifically. The roofing crew was experienced (one of them had been working with Baker for more than 20 years), worked together well, and seemed to enjoy their job. It has been more than a year since the installation and there have been no leaks, no shifting or loose shingles, and the ridge vent edges are still tight against the shingles.
Chris was the project manager for the siding, and showed the same attention and enthusiasm that Clint exhibited. He happily addressed all of my concerns and questions before, during, and after the install, was very polite and helpful at all times, was quick to answer his phone when I called with questions, and paid real attention to all details, such as: making certain that the paint didn’t just match, but matched perfectly, offering and demonstrating options for the trim installation, and he even found a minor aesthetic manufacturing defect in one of the boards on final inspection and replaced the board the next day. The crew – Oscar, Ivan, and a third member whose name I did not get – was excellent. Their cuts were all clean, the boards are all tight against the sheathing, the window wrapping was much better than the original, and they did extra things like angle-cut the top edge of the trim so water runs off of the top surface instead of collecting on the flat surface (takes extra time and goes a long way towards longevity of the material). In my book, those guys are masters of their craft.
I noticed that Baker did not cut corners on materials like caulk (OSI) and house wrap (Hardie).
I didn’t get the gutter install crew’s names, but again, they were professional and friendly, did a great job (neat bends, color matched, tight connections, screws hidden when possible, etc.), and went above and beyond to make certain I was satisfied with the work. They were really nice guys who did the neatest gutter work I have seen.
A few months after the completion of the work, Charlotte, from the corporate office, called to make sure I was still satisfied with the work that they performed. She was very nice, asked relevant questions, and I believe that she was genuinely interested in my opinion and experience.
Summarily, I dealt with four departments of Baker Construction, and they all demonstrated the same interest in quality and in my personal satisfaction with their work. Everyone answered my phone calls or returned my calls the same day, and all of the work was of high quality. I did not find Baker’s estimate to be anymore expensive that the other two companies IF the comparison was the proverbial oranges to oranges… for example – another company’s estimate was less but their estimate did not include drip edges on the eaves. I did not experience any pressure of any kind from any Baker employee at any time. They sent me their estimate, checked in one time to see if I had any questions, and they were always courteous.

We worked with Baker to redo our siding and add a screened-in porch on our house. The initial process was very rocky. We signed a contract for the work in March 2024, with an estimate that work would start in 6-8 weeks. Work on the project did not start until the end of December 2024--more than 9 months later. Part of the reason for the delay was supply chain issues, but we also experienced major communications challenges with Baker and did not get updates on the timeline unless we explicitly reached out, sometimes requiring multiple emails/calls to get a response.
Once the project finally started, Allston Moore took over as project manager, and things went much more smoothly for the rest of the project. Allston was on-site almost every day for the duration of the project, and always reachable via email or phone. Allston proactively addressed issues as they came up. At one point, the crew started installing new shutters that were too small. Before I came out to ask questions about the shutters, Allston had already ordered new shutters in the correct size, and stopped the installation of the too-small shutters. In another instance, when the electrician installed the new ceiling fan for the porch our living room lights stopped working. He worked together with the electrician--for an entire day--to find the error and fix the electrical in our living room.
Overall, we're happy with the new siding and deck, but it was a process to get there.

We recently completed a full exterior remodel with Baker, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! The project included Hardie plank siding, new soffits and fascia, closing up gable vents, adding new sheathing and barrier to the roof, shingles, drip edge, and all new gutters with flashing. The transformation is incredible—our home looks stunning, is more energy-efficient, and much easier to maintain than our old Masonite and roof.
The team was exceptional every step of the way. Dave Frawley, our salesman, was fantastic to work with—always responsive and quick to follow up if we had questions. Luke Koehler, the project manager, ensured everything was done on time and to the highest standard, frequently visiting the site to oversee progress. Marcos Jiménez, our installer, demonstrated remarkable craftsmanship, and Bruce Liner, the window tech, was a true professional.
The entire team was punctual, hardworking, and kept the property impeccably clean every single day. Their bid was competitive, and they delivered on their promise to do the job right. We highly recommend Baker for any exterior remodeling needs. They exceeded our expectations, and our home has never looked better!

My project was completed ahead of schedule and within the estimate. I have the best looking roof on the block. My new windows open and close smoothly and securely. As a tradesperson, I was extremely impressed with the project managers who worked alongside their crews and took total ownership of the job. One of them came by personally and fixed the one item on my punch list. Everyone I dealt with treated me like I was their only customer. I plan on staying in my house for another 10-15 years and wanted quality. That's what I paid for and that's what I got.
