Recommend! They know what they’re doing! The first day, Zak, Richard, and Johnny arrived and started right in getting boxes ready and then filling them. They asked questions about what I wanted to pack myself and checked to make sure I had put things aside since I’d be staying in the house that night and would need things like a toothbrush and clothes for the next day.
The next day Zak returned with Mike and Ed. They loaded up and headed 2.5 hours away to my new house. They helped me get some heavy things into my car as well. Then they methodically unloaded the truck, checking with me about where some boxes should go since the rooms didn’t match up from one house to the other. They made sure they had area rugs just where I wanted them before putting furniture on them. Good attention to detail.
Can’t say if everything arrived in one piece because I’m too tired to open the boxes, but I’m pretty confident that everything is fine.

This is our second time using Athens Moving Experts. Ibrahim, Freddie, and Jarel helped us move furniture from one house to another 3 hours away. These three guys were so efficient, organized, strong, and nice. We had an antique grandfather clock that we removed the chimes and pendulum from. They bubble wrapped the chimes in blankets and secured safely in the truck. The treated all the furniture with the same care. Everything arrived safely and securely. They unwrapped the furniture on arrival and confirmed all was ok.
I would highly recommend these guys to anyone in the area.

This was our second time using Athen’s Moving company and I honestly can’t say enough words to say how professional and hardworking this company is. We had Ibrahim, Freddie, Dionte for both our loading and unloading throughout this process.
Couldn’t have asked for a better team to handle our moving.

Exceptional movers! They moved our 113 year old grand piano flawlessly. Very personable and polite and they took care in every detail of the piano. The piano was carefully wrapped and they were very efficient in their work. Strongly recommend!
