All I can say about this bar is....Eh. Like literally Eh.
I guess if i had to elaborate, I would say a few things were kind of off about it.
Like have you ever seen a Not rude but kind of rude bartender? Myself as a bartender, anytime I see someone who is new, I want to make sure they come back. The bartender wasn't rude...just very abrupt and cold. Like i've had worse bartenders so she was not bad, it was just.....cold. I'm willing to say maybe because she was closing and trying to get out faster (it was like 4 ppl there beside me) and I get it as a bartender. But still.
The regulars dont seem sociable or friendly (which is a bit odd for Cary). The bar i went to next door, was WAY better as far as the regulars go and friendly.
I think the thing that bothered me most was the lack of music. I get they have touchtunes and want you to spend money for the jukebox. It's a capitalist country after all.
The issue is unless you actually pay for the jukebox, it is literally dead air. And if it is dead like it was last night, it makes the overall vibe seem awkward.
Overall, it was just an ehhh experience(and it was my Birthday). I would go back to the bar and give it another shot BUT i also wouldnt go out of my way to go there.

Fantastic “hole in the wall” pool hall.
Great drink specials, quality pool tables, friendly staff, clean bathrooms.
They do the “pay for music or it’s silent” game, so be prepared to pay to play DJ.
Fun spot. Give it a shot.

Recently started going here for senior league. The people are friendly, the rates are very reasonable, the staff is fantastic, and the food amazing!!! 😇

Dear Miss Breaktime
A couple of week ago I was feeling lonely and want to play in a pool league once again. So I wandered into this place Breaktimes in Cary. It has a very nice set up. Ten diamond tables layer across the whole place, with the tables and chair so you can see a poll match and a ball game. You did a great job with that lay out. I ordered a cheese sticks and they we got and crunchy. I saw a couple other orders and can’t wait to try more of your menu. I am now in a league at your place and the atmosphere here is great. I look forward to every week coming and shooting some pool and catching up on my sports watching. Thanks for such a cool place to go and welcoming a smuck like me. See you next week and everyone for a long time.
